Uploading a Reference Track for Mastering

Once you move from mixing into the mastering stage, you'll get the option to upload a reference track. This feature requires the Creator plan or higher.

What does a reference track do?

When you click Create Master, Cryo Mix matches the tone, loudness, and EQ character of your master to the reference track you uploaded. It's a way to steer your final sound toward a song whose sound you're aiming for.

When can I upload one?

At the mastering stage. Reference tracks aren't used during mixing. You'll add yours after mixing, as part of setting up your master.
