Pitch Correction is an advanced setting in Cryo Mix that helps tune audio to the correct musical pitch based on your song’s key and scale (the set of notes that “belong” together).
When enabled, Cryo Mix analyzes the pitch of your audio and nudges notes toward the nearest notes in your selected scale. This is commonly known as vocal tuning and is often associated with “Auto-Tune-style” effects (Auto-Tune® is a third-party trademark).
What Pitch Correction affects (and what it doesn’t)
- ✅ Affects: pitch accuracy (how “in tune” notes are)
- ⚠️ May change: the feel of slides/vibrato if settings are very high
- ❌ Does not directly control: loudness, EQ, or overall tone (those are shaped by other mix/master settings)

Pitch Correction works best on audio with a clear, stable note, such as:

1) Set the correct key and scale
Pitch Correction works best when your song key/scale is correct.
Wrong key = wrong notes (even if your performance is good).

2) Start subtle, then increase
- Low → Medium: natural, transparent tuning
- Higher: tighter tuning and more obvious “processed” sound

3) Tune layers more than the lead
A reliable workflow:
- Lead vocal: lighter tuning to keep emotion and movement
- Doubles / harmonies / ad-libs: stronger tuning to “glue” stacks together
