Audio Separator

Split any finished song into 5 AI stems - vocals, instrumental, drums, bass, and other - so you can remix, DJ, practice, or sample with clean, downloadable files.

Welcome to the Deconstruction Lab.

Sometimes, you don't need to mix a song - you need to un-mix one.

Whether you are a DJ wanting an acapella, a producer trying to sample a drum break, or a singer looking for an instrumental backing track, the Cryo Mix Audio Separator uses advanced AI to split a finished song into its main parts.

Think of it as โ€œun-baking a cakeโ€ to get the eggs, flour, and sugar back.

The Input: What Can I Upload?

Navigate to the Audio Separator tool.

  • One File Only: Unlike the mixing studio, here you upload a single, finished song file โ€“ a normal stereo track like a demo or a track from your library.
  • File Types: MP3 or WAV are supported.
  • Drag & Drop: Drag your audio file into the upload box.

The Magic: How It Works

Click โ€œStart Separation.โ€

  • Novaโ€™s algorithms analyze the frequency spectrum of the track โ€“ think of this as the songโ€™s sonic fingerprint โ€“ to identify different elements.
  • She then separates each element and turns them into individual audio tracks you can use in your DAW, DJ software, or practice setup.

The Output: What You Get

Once the process is complete, Cryo Mix delivers 5 distinct stems (separate audio files for each part) for every track:

  1. Vocals: The isolated lead and backing vocals (acapella).

  2. Instrumental: The entire song minus the vocals (karaoke/backing track).

  3. Drums: Just the rhythmic elements (kick, snare, hi-hats, percussion).

  4. Bass: The isolated bassline or 808 โ€“ the low-end thump that carries the groove.

  5. Other: The melody and remaining instruments: guitars, pianos, synths, and effects that arenโ€™t drums or bass.

Download & Create

You can now download these files individually to use in your next project.

  • For Remixers: Download the Vocals to build a new beat around them.
  • For DJs: Download Drums and Bass to create custom edits, mashups, or transitions.
  • For Practice: Download the Instrumental to practice your karaoke, rap flow, solos, or live performance.

From here, slice, flip, rearrange, and create.
