Traditional mixing software forces you to think like an engineer. You have to know that "warmth" often means boosting around 200Hz or that "space" means increasing reverb decay (you don’t need to know any of this with Cryo Mix - we’re just using it as an example).

With Cryo Mix, you just speak your mind. Nova translates your creative ideas into technical adjustments instantly.

1. How it Works

At the bottom of the Studio View, you’ll find the Prompt Bar.

• Think Creative, Not Technical: Instead of hunting for a “Threshold” slider or EQ curve, just type what you hear in your head.

• Try commands like:

  • “Make the vocals feel more intimate.”
  • “The ad-libs should sound like a telephone.”
  • “Make the whole track brighter.”

2. It’s a Conversation

Nova has a memory. She doesn't just execute one command and forget the last one; she builds on the conversation.

• Command 1: “Make the vocals louder.” (Nova turns them up a bit).
• Command 2: “A little bit more.” (Nova adds a bit more level.)
• Command 3: “Actually, that's too much.” (Nova backs it off again.)
• Why this matters: You “dial in” a feeling just by chatting – exactly as you would with a human engineer in the room.

Each message builds on the last, rather than resetting your mix.

3. Being Specific (Targeting Stems / Tracks)

Nova is smart enough to know which track (or stem) you are talking about.

• Global Changes: “Make the song brighter.” (Affects the whole mix.)
• Specific Changes: “Make the Ad-libs have more reverb.” (Targeted change to that track.)
• File Name Targeting: You can even use the exact name of your uploaded file for precision: “Turn down 'Lead_Vocal_Final.wav'.”

4. The "Vocal Expert" Advantage

While Nova can adjust levels for your whole track, her specialized training is in Vocal Production.

• She understands complex descriptors like “Airy,” “Boxy,” “Muddy,” “Crisp,” and “Distant.”
• Behind the scenes, Nova adjusts real EQ, compression and effects – you just describe the sound.
• Use these prompts to fix tone and character without ever touching an EQ graph.
