Managing Tracks: Upload Limits, Adding Channels, and Downloads

Whether you are building a massive multi-stem mix or just mastering a single track, managing your project files in Cryo Mix is simple. Here are the answers to your most common questions about track limits, adding files, and downloading your final results.

How many tracks (files) can I upload?

The number of files you can upload depends on the tool you are using:

• AI Mastering: This tool is designed for stereo mixdowns. You can upload 1 file per mastering project. Additionally you can add 1 reference track.
• AI Mixing: For stem mixing, a single project can support up to 32 individual tracks/files.

Note: For the best AI Mixing results, we recommend consolidating smaller clips into continuous stem tracks (e.g., bouncing all your lead vocal takes into one single "Lead Vocal" audio file) before uploading.

2. Can I add channels to a project later?

Yes! You don't have to upload all of your files at once. If you record a new synth part or a backing vocal after you've already started a Cryo Mix project, you can easily add it in:

1. Open your existing project in the Cryo Mix Studio through the library.
2. Click the "+ Add Track" button located on the bottom of your track list.
3. Select your new audio file to upload it.
4. Once processed, our AI, Nova, will analyze the new channel and integrate it into your existing mix.

3. Where is my song downloaded?

Once your mix or master is complete and you hit the "Download" button, the file is processed through your web browser.

• Default Location: Your song will automatically be saved to your computer's or device's default Downloads folder.
• Browser Settings: If you can't find it, check your web browser's recent downloads history (usually accessible by pressing Ctrl + J on Windows or Cmd + Option + L on Mac).
• Re-Downloading: Our Credit System makes it possible for you to come back to your project and download another version of your track if needed.
