How to Use the Cryo Mix AI Mastering Tool

This guide walks you through the process of taking your raw mix and turning it into a release-ready master using Cryo Mix’s AI technology.

Step 1: Upload Your Track

1. Navigate to the Interface: Open the Cryo Mix tool on your browser.
2. Upload File: Drag and drop your final mixed track into the box labeled "Upload your master track" (or click to select the file manually).
   • Note: Ensure you upload a single file of your final mix.
3. Wait for Processing: The AI will upload and analyze your audio. You will see a progress bar move from 0% to 100% as the AI "listens" to your track and determines the optimal settings.

Step 2: Project Setup

Once the analysis is complete, you can organize the project details:

• Rename Project: Click the pencil icon next to "Untitled Project" to name your track.
• Artist Profile: Enter the Artist Name (if not already set).
• Genre & Tags: Select the correct genre and add tags. This helps the AI understand the stylistic context of your song.

Step 3: Preview and Customize

You can immediately listen to the result by toggling between the Before and After buttons. If you want to tweak the sound, you have three powerful options:

Option A: Use Presets (Simple Mode)

Best for quick adjustments to change the overall "vibe."

1. Click the Presets button.
2. Select a preset that matches your goal:
   • Bass Boost: Emphasizes low-end energy.
   • Clarity: Boosts high frequencies for a crisp sound.
   • Power: Maximizes loudness and impact.
   • Punch: Highlights transients for a snappy feel.
   • Transparent: Maintains the natural balance of your original mix.
   • Width: Enhances the stereo image.
3. Click Apply to hear the difference.

Option B: Advanced Mode (Manual Control)

Best for experienced engineers who want fine-tuned control.

1. Toggle the Advanced Mode switch in the top right corner.
2. Click the settings icon to reveal manual sliders.
3. Adjust specific parameters including:
   • EQ Correction: Overall tonal balance.
   • Low / Mids / Highs: Specific frequency band adjustments.
   • Width: Widen or narrow the stereo field.
   • Loudness: Increase or decrease the final target volume.

Option C: AI Assistant (Nova)

Best for describing what you want in plain English.

1. Locate the chat box at the bottom that says "Describe how you want your master to sound..."
2. Type a command like "Make it sound more polished" or "Add more warmth."
3. Nova will interpret your text and adjust the internal settings automatically.

Step 4: Technical Analysis (Optional)

If you want to see exactly what the AI did to your track:

1. Click the Analysis button.
2. Review the Mastering Analysis Dashboard, which displays:
   • Improvements Summary: Stats on loudness increase, stereo width change, and transient preservation.
   • Frequency Response: A graph comparing the EQ curve before and after mastering.
   • Streaming Check: verification that the file is optimized for Spotify, Apple Music, and other major platforms.

Step 5: Finalize and Download

1. Rate the Master: Give a star rating (1–5) to help the AI learn and improve future results.
2. Download: Click the Download button.
3. Confirm Credits: A popup will check your credit balance. Confirm the transaction to save the final, release-ready WAV/MP3 to your device.
